Setting Up Catalyst Monitoring Configuration

You can set up the Catalyst configuration for monitoring to ensure accurate data analysis of the network devices.


1. Navigate to Settings > Configuration > AIOps.


The AIOps page is displayed.




2. Click Add New.


The Add System Configuration dialog is displayed.


Note: All fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.


3. Choose Exist from the Select Public IP options.


Note: Ceburu will automatically pull the IP and auto-populate the details in the Public IP fields as you have previously configured Public IP in Settings Configuration Asset Management.


4. Select the option Catalyst.


The fields to configure the IP Proxy Machine are displayed.


5. Select or enter the required values in the fields. Please refer to the following table for field names and their descriptions.

Select Proxy Machine 

Configured RHEL system

Domain/ System Username 

Active Directory account username

Domain/ System Password 

Corresponding Active Directory account password

IP Range - Range of IP addresses within the configured router subnet for monitoring

Enter Subnets

Subnets to be monitored

Enter Place

Location information for the subnet

Select Profile - Profile for device monitoring

Profile

SNMP profile (v1/v2 or v3)


You can create a new SNMP profile from Settings Configurations SNMP or use Add Profile.


4. Click Save.


Ceburu will automatically install or set up a proxy on your configured RHEL system. Once the setup is complete, the proxy will collect data from your routers and push it to the cloud.
