How to Install Multi-Probe?

You can configure multip-probe in your Ceburu account to monitor complex networks.


1.  Navigate to Settings > Configurations > Asset Management.


The Asset Management page is displayed.



2.  Click the  icon in the row of the desired group to configure the multi-probe.


The Edit Network Group dialog is displayed.



3.  Click Add Probe.


The Edit Network Group dialog is displayed.

4.  Enter/select the required values in the respective fields.  Please refer to the table below for field names and their descriptions.


Note:  All fields with an asterisk (*) are mandatory.


Field

Description

Monitoring Type

Type of probe based on where it is deployed

Probe name 

Name of the probe 

Scan Host IP

Target IP address for scanning and monitoring

Subnet Type

Category of the subnet based on network spans - multiple subnet or single subnet  

IP Range 

Enter Public IP

Specific public IP address of the subnet for probing

Enter name

Name for the related IP address

Public IP

Enter Public IP

Public IP address of the network group.

Enter name

Name for the related IP address


5.  Click Update.


The probe is configured.  



Note:  You can view the details and edit the probe when needed by clicking  icon in the desired probe’s row.



Similarly, add multiple probes and configure them.


7.  After configuring the probes, download the Infrastructure and Application installers.  For more information, please refer to Downloading and Installing Ceburu Infrastructure.



Note: 

  • Ceburu will automatically validate the IP address of Probe 2 to ensure it matches the configured system.

  • If you attempt to install it on a different IP address, the installation will be rejected, and you will be prompted to continue using the previously configured system.

  • After successful validation, Ceburu will automatically deploy the Ceburu Agent and Ceburu Proxy to Probe 2.
