In Ceburu Network Performance Configuration there are two options :
The Network Performance section allows you to view the various networks that transmit data from the router, enabling you to analyze the network traffic data. You can also assess the data flow efficiency within a network using the data in the From Netflow Collector section and edit the flow collector information. Additionally, you can view and update the router API key for the data NetFlow.
Example of NetFlow Collector and SMNP
Network Performance Monitoring (NPM) is essential for tracking and analyzing network traffic, ensuring optimal performance and security. The module enables users to manage network traffic through NetFlow routing or Direct cloud-based monitoring. NPM supports these 2 methods for routing traffic from routers:
- Option 1- NetFlow Routing – Sends traffic to a NetFlow collector for analysis within the network host machine.
NetFlow Configuration: To enable network monitoring, ensure NetFlow is configured correctly:
- IP Address: Each network device has a unique IP.
- NetFlow Type: Devices must be set to Direct NetFlow for real-time analysis.
- Port Forwarding: Forward NetFlow traffic to 23.22.139.92 on UDP port 4739 to enable visibility into network performance.
From Netflow Collector:
NetFlow Collector Configuration
To set up a NetFlow Collector, follow these steps:
Add a NetFlow Collector:
- Click "Add NetFlow Collector" in the From NetFlow Collector tab.
- A configuration window will appear.
Configure Collector Details:
- Network Name: Select the network from which NetFlow data will be collected.
- Host Name: Choose the destination host that will receive the NetFlow data.
- NetFlow Port: Define the UDP port to receive NetFlow packets (default: 4739).
Save Configuration:
- Click the "Save" button to apply settings.
- The collector will now start receiving flow data.
after adding the Netflow collector it will display like this.
- Option 2 - Direct Cloud-based Routing – Directs traffic to a cloud-based network performance monitoring system by adding this configuration in your Network gears.
From Router to Ceburu cloud:
To enable NetFlow data collection, configure your routers and switches to forward NetFlow traffic to the Ceburu Cloud using the following settings:
- Destination IP Address:
23.22.139.92
- Port:
4739
- Protocol: UDP
All NetFlow data should be sent directly from your network devices to the Ceburu Cloud for monitoring and analysis.
